A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

Grosse Ile Township asks voters to renew an expired voted increase of 0.15 mills ($0.15 per $1,000 of taxable value), reduced to 0.1439 mills ($0.1439 per $1,000) by required rollbacks. The millage would be renewed at 0.1439 mills for ten years, 2026 through 2035 inclusive, to maintain bike paths in the township. An estimated $119,000 would be raised in the first calendar year of the levy. A portion would be disbursed to the Downtown Development Authority and the Brownfield Authority as required by law. A yes vote renews the millage; a no vote means it is not renewed.
