In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

Manchester Township is asking voters to renew a fire protection services millage. The previous voted increase, now reduced to .6444 mills by required rollbacks, would be renewed at .6444 mills ($0.6444 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) and levied for five additional years, 2028 through 2032 inclusive. The money would fund fire protection services in the township, and the question estimates $131,000.00 raised in 2028. A portion may be disbursed under a fire services agreement to another local unit for fire protection services to the township. A YES vote renews the millage; a NO vote means it is not renewed.
