A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

Leslie voters are asked whether the city should levy a new additional tax of up to 5.0000 mills ($5.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) on all taxable property in the city. It would run for 20 years, beginning with the 2027 tax levy and continuing through the 2046 tax levy. The funds would construct, reconstruct, resurface, rehabilitate, repair, preserve, maintain and improve public streets, roads, alleys and related street infrastructure. An estimated $284,245.40 would be raised in the first year the millage is levied. A yes vote approves the tax; a no vote rejects it.
