In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

Beaverton Township voters are asked to renew an expired voted millage. The original increase was 0.5000 mills, which the wording says has been reduced to 0.4932 mills by required millage rollbacks. The renewal would be set at 0.4932 mills ($0.4932 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for five years, 2026 through 2031 inclusive. The money would fund fire protection services, including purchasing, housing, operating and maintaining equipment. The wording estimates $40,003.00 would be raised in the first year. A YES vote renews the millage; a NO vote means it is not renewed.
