In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

Buchanan voters are asked to renew and levy a total of 0.80 mill ($.80 per $1,000 of taxable value) on all taxable property in the city. The money would provide public transportation, including operation of the Dial-A-Ride bus system currently run by Niles Dial-A-Ride, known as DART. The millage would be levied for four consecutive years, in 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030. The question estimates first-year revenue of approximately $96,039.00 and says the millage is a renewal of a previously authorized millage. A YES vote approves the renewal; a NO vote means it is not renewed.
