Lafayette Ballot Issue 2A would extend a property tax that voters approved in 2014 and that is set to expire in December 2026. The measure would continue the tax through December 31, 2046, collecting up to $713,000 a year. The money would pay for capital improvements, operation, and maintenance of Lamont Does Park and related facilities, plus other related city purposes. The measure says it does not impose a new tax. A YES vote extends this tax. A NO vote lets it expire at the end of 2026.
