Town of Ross · Marin County · November 3, 2026
The question on your ballot
To maintain local ambulance services staffed by paramedics available to respond to 9-1-1 emergencies, shall the Ross Valley Paramedic Authority measure be adopted continuing for four years the paramedic services special tax of up to $107.50/residential living unit or 1,000 square feet of developed nonresidential property, adjusted up to $4/year, generating approximately $111,000 annually, with annual audits, public spending disclosure and all funds for local paramedic services?
In plain language
Measure U would continue the Town of Ross's special tax for paramedic services for four years. The Ross Valley Paramedic Authority provides these services. The tax would be up to $107.50 per home or per 1,000 square feet of business space. It could rise by up to $4 a year. All the money would go to local paramedic services. There would be yearly audits and public reports on spending. A YES vote continues the tax. A NO vote means the tax is not continued by this measure.
Fiscal impact
Up to $107.50 per home or per 1,000 square feet of nonresidential space, adjustable up to $4 a year, for four years. Raises about $111,000 a year.
