In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

This measure asks Crossville voters whether the city may transfer water-system land to the Cumberland Plateau Water Authority. The transfer covers 3.85 acres around the dam and 38.17 acres around the water treatment plant at Meadow Park Lake, plus various parcels at Holiday Lake and all other parcels needed to operate the system. A YES vote authorizes the transfer, but only if the Crossville City Council later decides it is in the best interests of the city and its ratepayers.
