In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

The question asks Kidder Township voters whether to raise the ambulance and rescue squad tax millage from 1.3 mills to 2 mills under Section 68205(a)(8) of the Second Class Township Code. The Board of Supervisors requested it for the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad. The official statement says the squad was recently certified to operate at a more advanced level to reduce the need for Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. The money would go to the squad to support that advancement and rising ambulance operating costs. A YES vote approves the increase, and a NO vote keeps the rate at 1.3 mills.
