In plain language

Caledonia Area Public Schools has a second question that counts only if School District Question 1 is approved. It asks whether the district may issue general obligation school building bonds, which are loans repaid with interest from property taxes. The money would build and equip new career and technical education and science, technology, engineering and math spaces at the middle and high school. The ballot notes that a YES vote is a vote for a property tax increase. A YES vote authorizes the bonds. A NO vote means they are not issued.

Fiscal impact

Bonds of up to $3,000,000.
