Proposition C would add Chapter XXVIII to the Village of Alpha Charter to authorize disincorporation, which the Charter does not currently allow. The wording says state law permits disincorporation only if the Charter expressly allows it. The new chapter would follow the Home Rule Village Act and other applicable state law.
