In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

Davison voters are asked whether to amend Section 6.5 of the city charter. Officers would qualify and take office at 6:00 p.m. on the second Monday in January following each regular city election. The change would apply only to officials elected in or after November of 2028, and it would not change the length of term for any current official. A YES vote adopts the new start time, and a NO vote leaves Section 6.5 unchanged.
