Shall the above described Charter amendment be adopted?

In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

The Village Charter now provides two-year terms for council members, with an eight-year term limit. This charter amendment would create three-year staggered council terms and a three-term limit. The first transition would occur in November 2026. The three candidates with the most votes, or who run unopposed, would receive three-year terms. The remaining candidates would receive two-year terms. A YES vote adopts this amendment. A NO vote keeps the current two-year terms and eight-year term limit.
