In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

The Palmetto Bay charter currently requires a majority vote of electors to approve a sale or exchange of Village-owned park property. It also requires a majority vote for any lease of that property longer than five years. This amendment would require majority voter approval for any sale, conveyance, exchange, transfer, lease, or license of Village property. Leases with a term of three years or less would be exempt. A YES vote adopts this approval requirement, while a NO vote keeps the current rules.
