In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

This Lee County charter amendment would limit County Constitutional Officers to no more than three (3) consecutive four-year terms in office. It changes Section 3.1 of the county charter, which covers these elected county offices. A term already in progress as of November 2026 would not count toward the limit. A YES vote sets the three-term limit, while a NO vote does not add this limit to the charter.
