Lauderdale-by-the-Sea: put current district boundaries in charter

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea town · November 3, 2026

The question on your ballot

The Town has used the same northern and southern Commission district boundaries since 2004. Shall the Town Charter be amended to establish the current district boundaries in the Town Charter, including the existing boundary at the portion of the Village of Sea Ranch Lakes bordering the Atlantic Ocean to preserve the current district boundaries?

In plain language

A VoterDecoder summary of the official measure text.

The town has used the same northern and southern Commission district boundaries since 2004. This amendment would write those current district boundaries into the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea town charter. That includes the existing boundary along the part of the Village of Sea Ranch Lakes that borders the Atlantic Ocean. A YES vote places the current boundaries in the charter, while a NO vote does not.
