Pueblo Ballot Question 2A would add a one-quarter percent (0.25%) city sales and use tax starting January 1, 2027. It would raise $5,878,267.00 in the first full fiscal year and more in later years. The money would go into a special fund used only for the Department of Fire and technology related to public safety in the city. A YES vote approves the tax, set out in Ordinance No. 11243. A NO vote means the tax is not added.
