Wheat Ridge Ballot Issue 2A would raise the city sales and use tax by one percent (1.0%) starting January 1, 2027, raising up to $11,700,000 in the first full year. The money would pay for street maintenance, bicycle and pedestrian safety, community spaces at Wilmore Davis and Kullerstrand elementary schools, a new Anderson Park outdoor pool, and modern police and city services facilities. A YES vote approves the tax. A NO vote keeps the current rate.
