Louisville Ballot Issue 2B would continue the city's 0.125% historic preservation sales tax, beginning January 1, 2029, and expiring December 31, 2038. The question says it would raise $1.5 million in 2029 and more each year after that. The money, with the existing 0.125% use tax, would support historic preservation. Starting January 1, 2027, the city could also spend these funds on programs that promote its history and cultural heritage. The share for the Louisville Museum Campus would rise from 20% to 30% a year. A YES vote approves these changes. A NO vote means these changes do not take effect.
