Measure G-26: MEASURE G-26

Paso Robles Joint Unified School District · San Luis Obispo County · November 3, 2026

The question on your ballot

“With funds that cannot be taken by the State and spent elsewhere, shall Paso Robles Joint Unified School District’s measure to renovate and expand classrooms and career training facilities; and repair leaky roofs and inefficient heating and air-conditioning be adopted authorizing $205 million of bonds with legal rates, average levies below $50 per $100,000 of assessed value (raising $12.2 million annually) while outstanding, audits, taxpayer oversight, no funds for administrator salaries, pensions or benefits, and full disclosure of all spending?”

In plain language

Measure G-26 is a school bond for Paso Robles schools. A YES vote lets the district borrow $205 million. The money would update classrooms and job-training buildings. It would also fix leaky roofs and HVAC systems. A NO vote blocks this borrowing for these projects. The measure requires audits and taxpayer oversight. It also bans spending on administrator pay or pensions.

Fiscal impact

The bond would be repaid with average property tax levies below $50 per $100,000 of assessed value, raising about $12.2 million a year while the bonds are outstanding.
