In plain language
Measure AA is a bond measure for Perris Union High School District. A YES vote lets the district borrow $187,000,000 by selling bonds. The money would repair, buy, upgrade, and build classrooms and career technical education sites. It would fund other school facilities too. It would help remove hazardous materials. It would improve school safety and security systems. A NO vote means the district does not get this money, and the projects do not happen. The measure states current tax rates will not rise. It requires citizen oversight and independent audits.
Fiscal impact
The bonds cost $20 per $100,000 of assessed value. They would raise about $12 million each year on average while owed. Current tax rates would not go up.
