Measure HP
City of Huntington Park · Los Angeles County · November 3, 2026
The question on your ballot
Shall an ordinance be adopted to establish a lifetime limit of two (2) terms for members of the City Council, where a partial term of more than two (2) years counts as a full term, and a partial term of two (2) years or less does not count against the limit?
In plain language
Measure HP would limit Huntington Park City Council members to two terms in their lifetime. A partial term longer than two years would count as a full term, while a partial term of two years or less would not count against the limit. A YES vote sets this lifetime two-term limit. A NO vote leaves the current rules in place, with no lifetime term limit.
