Measure ART
City of Redondo Beach · Los Angeles County · November 3, 2026
The question on your ballot
Shall the measure be adopted to amend the Redondo Beach General Plan and Zoning Ordinance to support increased commercial activity in key areas of the City, including expanded property development potential (i.e. new floor area ratio caps, height limits, and rooftop dining) along Artesia and Aviation Boulevards, industrial properties north of Manhattan Beach Boulevard, and certain commercial properties along Pacific Coast Highway; and to reduce the allowed housing density for some residential and mixed- use properties in the City?
In plain language
Measure ART changes Redondo Beach's city plan and zoning. A YES vote allows more business growth. This means taller buildings and more floor space. Rooftop dining would be allowed too. It applies along Artesia and Aviation Boulevards. It also covers industrial land north of Manhattan Beach Boulevard. Parts of Pacific Coast Highway are included too. It would also lower housing density for some residential and mixed-use properties. A NO vote keeps the current plan and zoning rules.
