Chapdelaine has focused on economic development, downtown revitalization, and collaborative city leadership during his time on the council.

As a council member, Chapdelaine has said he wants to pursue grant funding for downtown revitalization and create incentives to attract new businesses to Live Oak, while taking a collaborative approach to addressing challenges like inflation, labor shortages, and declining city revenues. He has emphasized working across differences on the council rather than letting personal disagreements interfere with representing residents.
