Kimberley Williams
Candidate for City Council Member, Santa Clara, District 2 · University Administrator/Mother
Kimberley Williams has lived in Santa Clara for more than 18 years and has been active as an education and parent advocate. She helped establish the PTA at Central Park Elementary School and serves on the California State PTA Board of Managers and the Santa Clara Schools Foundation board.
Positions in brief
Williams frames her campaign around "smart growth" -- planning housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunity together -- and around repairing the city's relationship with the San Francisco 49ers over Levi's Stadium.
On her campaign site, Williams calls for thoughtful planning that ties housing, parks, transportation, and public safety together, and for "strong neighborhoods" that are safe, connected, affordable, and welcoming. She has also said she wants to repair the city's relationship with the 49ers organization, arguing Levi's Stadium is a municipal asset that requires mutual responsibility from both the city and the team.
