Sherrie Ebyam
Candidate for City Council (At-Large), Willits · RETIRED FINANCE DIRECTOR
Sherrie Ebyam is a retired finance director and former mathematics teacher. She worked with Mayor Tom Allman on Measure B, and was among the candidates considered by the city council in early 2025 for an appointed vacancy on the Willits City Council, a seat that ultimately went to former mayor Bruce Burton.
Positions in brief
Ebyam's campaign centers almost entirely on the city budget, pushing for close, detailed financial management and long-term fiscal sustainability.
Ebyam describes her priority simply as 'budget, budget, budget.' She says she wants to bring detailed financial analysis to the council, understanding both the big picture of the city's finances and the granular, line-item details, in order to address ongoing cost pressures facing Willits.
