Positions in brief

Eli Hill's platform spans small-business support, equity in city engagement, government accountability, housing approvals, public safety, and climate-resilient infrastructure.

Hill supports streamlining permits and licensing with multilingual support, investing in commercial areas, and building workforce pathways connecting housing, transit, and education. He wants to expand multilingual and multicultural engagement in planning and budgeting so underrepresented communities have a voice, alongside more transparent reporting and measurable milestones. On housing, he supports speeding up approvals for well-designed multifamily housing in walkable, transit-rich neighborhoods while ensuring major developments provide community benefits. On public safety, he supports community-oriented, data-driven policing along with youth mentoring and after-school programs, and safer streets through protected bike lanes and Vision Zero-style strategies. On infrastructure, he supports advancing the city's Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan, improving the transit center, fixing high-collision intersections, and prioritizing climate-resilient development including sea-level rise adaptation.
