On her campaign site, Shulman lists fiscal responsibility and smart planning, community engagement and transparency, and accountable leadership as her top priorities. She points to Clayton's aging infrastructure and calls for guiding growth in a way that preserves the town's small-town character, including navigating state housing mandates.
