Brian Berkson has served on the Jurupa Valley City Council since 2014, making him the longest-serving council member in the city's history. He served as mayor in 2019 and was selected again in 2025. A Glen Avon resident for over 20 years, he holds a business management degree from California State University, Northridge, founded a water conservation business in 1988, and holds California general and plumbing contractor licenses. He spent over 20 years as a project manager for a real estate development and investment firm. He sits on regional transportation boards including the Riverside Transit Agency, Metrolink (vice chair), and Riverside County Transportation Commission committees.
