Matthew Terry
Candidate for City Council Member, Seal Beach, District 1 · Architect
Matthew Terry is an architect who has lived in Old Town Seal Beach his whole life; his family has been in the area since the 1960s and he is raising three children there. He has been BIM Director at Common Arts, a Long Beach architecture firm, since 2013. He studied architecture at Cal Poly Pomona and worked four years at the Naval Weapons Station during college. His campaign says he has spoken at more than 25 City Council meetings.
Campaign message: City Hall has good intentions but bad follow-through; if the city spends time and money on something, it should be done right.
