Tim Hepburn is a small business owner with more than four decades of experience in the electrical industry. He was first elected to the La Verne City Council in 2015 and became mayor in 2020, according to a state senator's press release. That release also describes him as President of the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments and Second Vice President of the California Association of Councils of Governments. The Los Angeles County final list of qualified candidates shows him as the only candidate in this contest, with the ballot designation Small Business Owner.
