Arleen Bocatija Rojas is a retired Los Angeles Police Department officer with 31 years of service who was the first Filipina American to join the LAPD. She ran in Carson's November 2021 District 4 special election, leading the semi-official count, and has served on the Carson Economic Development Commission and been active in the Lions Club, the Carson Sister Cities Association and the Philippine Independence Day Foundation.

Led the semi-official count in the November 2021 special election for the Carson District 4 seat, with labor and local-official endorsements, per Asian Journal reporting. No 2026 campaign material was found.
