Stephen Avis
Candidate for City Council (At-Large), Ferndale
Stephen Avis is a retired city planner who worked for the City of Fortuna and Humboldt County. He moved to Ferndale in 2011 and was elected to the Ferndale City Council in 2018, serving one four-year term. He has served on the Humboldt Local Agency Formation Commission and the Redwood Coast Energy Authority board and sits on the Ferndale Repertory Theatre board. He ran for mayor in 2022 and placed second.
