Julie Maday is a Novi native and Michigan State University alumna who, with her husband, has supported MSU for three decades. She has previously served on a city council, a planning commission and an economic development committee. The Michigan Republican Party endorsed her at its March 2026 convention. Michigan Farm Bureau's AgriPac endorsed her in her 2024 trustee bid.
