Terence "Terry" Collins is a senior financial analyst at an automaker (General Motors per Bridge Michigan), age 61, from Grosse Pointe Park. He grew up in St. Clair Shores, graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy and has three adult children. He became involved in local schools in 2020, served on the Grosse Pointe Public Schools finance and facilities committee from January 2023 and on the school board from October 2023 to December 2024. The Michigan Republican Party nominated him for the State Board of Education.
