John James

John James has represented Michigan's 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House since 2023. A West Point graduate, he served eight years of active duty as a Ranger-qualified Army aviation officer and led two Apache platoons in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09. He was president of James Group International and CEO of Renaissance Global Logistics, holds a master's in supply chain management and information systems from Penn State (2014) and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business (2015), and was named to Crain's Detroit Business 40 Under 40 in 2020. His running mate on the joint ticket is state Rep. Jay DeBoyer.

James's campaign focuses on the economy, education, infrastructure and public safety.
