Jose Javier Rodriguez

He previously served in both chambers of the Florida Legislature, the House and the Senate. Most recently, he served in the Biden administration as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Labor. He also worked as a legal aid attorney representing workers whose wages were stolen or whose rights were violated. In 2020 he lost a state Senate race to a Republican by 32 votes.
