Michael J. Allen

Michael J. Allen has served as district attorney for the 4th Judicial District, which covers El Paso and Teller counties, since 2021. He has spent more than two decades as a prosecutor. Allen grew up in Thornton and Arvada and graduated from Arvada West High School. After high school he served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation electronics technician, and his campaign statement cites eight years of Navy service. Allen has also said he worked in the Consumer Protection division of the Kansas Attorney General's Office.
