John Joyce is a physician who has represented Pennsylvania's 13th Congressional District in the U.S. House since January 2019. He has served as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and later chaired its Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee. Joyce earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from Temple University, then completed postgraduate training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm and is board-certified in internal medicine and dermatology. He and his wife founded Altoona Dermatology Associates in 1991.
