Ryan Mackenzie is in his first term as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District, which covers Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon Counties and part of Monroe County. He serves on the Education and Workforce, Foreign Affairs, and Homeland Security committees. Before being elected to Congress, he served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2012 to 2024, where he was Republican chair of the Labor and Industry Committee and co-chair of the International Relations Caucus. Earlier in his career, he was policy director at the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and worked at the U.S. Department of Labor. He graduated from Parkland High School, earned a bachelor's degree in finance and international business from New York University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
