Eric Pratt earned a degree in economics from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas. He built a career in banking and business, including leadership roles at Target and U.S. Bank. He began his public service on a local school board, then was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2012, where he has worked on child care access, small-business support, and local economic development.
