Eric Guerra
Candidate for Sacramento County Supervisorial District 1 · CLEAN AIR BOARD
Eric Guerra has served on the Sacramento City Council for District 6. He won a special election there in 2015. He was most recently reelected in 2024. In 2026 he ran for county supervisor. His race was Sacramento District 1. Guerra advanced from the June 2, 2026 four-candidate primary for Sacramento County Supervisor, District 1; the other candidates were former State Senator Deborah Ortiz, Tim Riley, and Flojaune Cofer. No candidate reached a majority in the primary, and Guerra and Cofer are set to advance to the November 2026 general election. A second source, Ballotpedia, reports that Guerra is a registered Democrat. Sacramento city and county elections are officially nonpartisan, though. Ballotpedia also reports he ran before. That was for California State Assembly District 10, in 2022. He lost that race.
