Kimberly Overman

Kimberly Overman served on the Hillsborough County Commission from 2018 to 2022, including as chair of the board, and chaired the county's Affordable Housing Advisory Board and its Commission on Human Trafficking. She is a past chair of the Hillsborough County Housing Finance Authority. She is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner and small business owner who built a financial advisory firm, and is a past chair of the Financial Planning Association of Tampa Bay. Her bachelor's degree in agricultural and resource economics is from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her campaign says she was raised in a working-class family that faced housing insecurity. She is a mother and grandmother.
