Dan "Kilo" Sallis is a small business owner. His family moved to Colorado in 1967, when his father, an aerospace engineer at Martin Marietta, transferred from Baltimore to Littleton, and he grew up in the western Denver suburbs of Jefferson County. He has been involved in local business associations and community boards, coached youth sports as a father of two, and is a private pilot.
