Dwayne L. Romero

Dwayne L. Romero is a business owner and veteran. He owns and operates a property management company on the Western Slope that employs 120 Coloradans. He served seven years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, graduated from Army Ranger School, and earned a Bronze Star as a combat engineer executive officer during the Persian Gulf War. Romero served as president of a local school district board of education from 2020 to 2021 and on his local city council. He was also Director of Economic Development under Gov. John Hickenlooper.
