Sarah Chapman's campaign lays out several broad priorities. On public safety, she says every resident deserves to feel safe at home, work, in parks, and in neighborhoods, calling public safety the foundation of strong communities. On growth, she wants development that is thoughtful and balanced, guided by long-term planning that protects community character while preparing responsibly for the future. On the budget, she wants public resources managed wisely and transparently, with attention to both current needs and future obligations. On the economy, she wants to support local businesses, encourage entrepreneurship, attract quality employers, and strengthen downtown. She also emphasizes parks, recreation, and community gathering spaces as central to quality of life, and says local government works best when people feel heard and are encouraged to participate.
