Jenna Wolfe-Dellamano
Candidate for City Council Member, Solana Beach, District 4 · Business Owner
Jenna Wolfe-Dellamano has lived in Solana Beach for more than 10 years and is the founder and director of the nonprofit 'Solana Beach Backpacks for Kids' and the 'Solana Beach Free Farmers Market,' a free weekly farmers market at La Colonia Park that she launched during the pandemic to address local food insecurity. She holds an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University and spent more than 20 years in the financial industry, including auditing business loan portfolios for Midwest regional banks and more than 10 years as a Vice President at Union Bank, where she managed investment funds and bond proceeds for cities, counties, and states. She owns a business in Solana Beach.
In her official candidate statement, Wolfe-Dellamano says she was moved to run by concern over several major development projects proposed for eastside Solana Beach — high-density redevelopment of the Vons Shopping Center, potential dense housing at a senior living facility on Genevieve Avenue, and possible development of the Executive golf course — which she says could harm neighborhood livability and overwhelm city infrastructure unless residents are engaged. She describes herself as fiscally conservative and independent, supportive of a vibrant business community, and says residents should have the final say over how their neighborhoods develop rather than the state. She supports responsible growth that fits the community while preserving Solana Beach's small-town, beach-town character.
